This kit is designed to inspire parents to select ten crucial milestones in their child’s life—from the first day of school to marriage, or even moments of heartbreak and loss—and write heartfelt letters from their current perspective. As the child establishes their “roots” in life, your words will be present to witness their triumphs and offer comfort during their struggles.
Components Reflecting Generational Growth
We believe a heartfelt message deserves to last. All paper and envelopes are acid-free, guaranteeing maximum longevity when stored properly. Each set includes everything you need to create a complete time capsule letter:
- Paper & Envelopes: 10 pieces of high-quality paper (either 6″x9″ cards or 8.5″x11″ sheets) paired with 10 matching envelopes (A9 or #10). The paper showcases the four progressive bedroom designs (baby, elementary, high school, and grown).
- 10 Blank Milestone Labels: Use our digital template to elegantly type the recipient’s name and the specific milestone (e.g., “Open When You Receive Your Driver’s License”). These affix to the envelopes for clear guidance.
- 10 Sealing Labels: Decorative 1″ circle labels with the “With Love” design to provide a secure, final seal.
Important Preservation Note
To ensure your words last for generations, please use writing tools designed for longevity. We strongly recommend using a true ink pen designed to not fade or printing your letters using an inkjet printer. Toner-based laser printers are not suitable for the archival-grade paper and should be avoided.
